Looking for a car for mate at the moment

something up to 6-7k'ish

Possible culprits are

Mk4 golf GTi (turbo)
Ibiza Cupra (turbo)
mk4 astra coupe turbo

up to maybe group 14/15 insurance..

preferably not JAP though

i suggested mk4 golf GT TDI but no interest either

hes in the forces, does a lot of travelling up and down the country at weekends etc..

yellow cupra R in glasgow with 15K is a cat D write off, i was going to go and seee/buy it but guy played dumb and said he was pretty sure everything was ok on HPI

one in wales has had 7 or 8 previous owners and one of the rear quarters has had a dodgey reapir, id steer clear
