Went in the shed for the old hose pipe this morning to give the motor a clean and got attacked by loads of wasps Further inspection finds a massive nest within a new piece of carpet
Is there anyway i can kill the wasps and nest? Or do i need to call the boys in white out? Don't really fancy getting stung and no-one else seems to wanna go on a killing spree

smoke.
set fire to something which burns slowly in the shed, then shut the door
just make sure its not something that burns with a lot of flame

ugh hate wasps nests
we had hem getting into the loft under our guttering once so we extended the vacuum tube and sucked a shit load of the little buggers up!
another good invention was an ice cream tub with a fan on the top and some jam underneath, hours of fun watching the wasps get cut up as they tried to get to the jam
I would maybe call the boys out if u dont fancy been stung!
smoke bombs?

Smoke bomb
Either that or burn shed down and use as BBQ material.
Latter idea gets my vote

We had an underground wasps nest, poured paraffin down the hole, stuffed in a flaming paraffin soaked rag and ran away.
A load of angry wasps flying around on fire is not something you want to be caught up in.

Simple physics really, the sound of VTEC is perfectly in phase with the sound of a wasps nest, so the noise waves become constructive to the point where the wasps' wings beat so quickly they generate heat and the insects spontaneously combust
Watch next time you see a CTR in the countryside, you'll hear pops and see miniature explosions as it drives by wasps nests.

part of your theory is true there. some honey bees kill intruding hornets by doing that, and cooking the hornet
the CTR would have a similar effect.

i used a piece of house guttering to smack the nest onto the floor, them obliterated it with the supersoaker, worked a treat
