... in london last night, doing a u turn in a quiet road

he drove all the way home, and the car is fine, no wobbles, no vibrations nothing

BUT.... his old man still wants him to get it checked out because "the driveshaft might be bent" and "the tracking might be out"

i've told them both that if the shaft was bent, the steering wheel would have vibrated.

will they listen? no.....

i love people who know nothing about cars but still pretend that they do

i've told them 4 time, and they still think they know best

he was doing about 5mph FFS

I could do more damage with a block of cheese than that would have done

oh well.... their loss, they're gonna get ripped off by their local backstreet garage....

hadnt thought of that.

i might warn them just incase

he's bringing it round later for me to look at the damage on the wheel.... i'm gonna tell him it needs a new wheel and a new tyre
