Who has ever electricuted themselves?

was lifting out a cooker hob today to find the wires in the back were loose, the live touched the metal base and sent 240v through my upper torso!! lol

what a rush!!

Yep, stuck my thumb into the top of a lamp with no bulb in, went flying and left a lovely burn!

Iv had 240v from a fuse spur once, and what made it worse was i was touching a metal suspended ceiling frame at the same time

its the amperage which is worse than the voltage.

car batteries give you a hell of a jolt

See how much pain you can take by touching the terminals of a 9V battery to your tongue, any more than a few seconds and I'd be impressed...

holding the rotor arm on the distributer on my dads old volvo with an oily screwdriver so he could see if it was sparking

sounds weird but

i was crab fishing at cpornwall a few years ago

and there was a yellow thick wire going round the harbour and i had moved it with my feet a few times then a crab got stuck behind it and i picked it up and bam 240v through me lol

it felt wierd

Me and a mate cut across some farmland once, didnt notice the electric cattle fence. That hurt.

But there again we deserved it for being somewhere we shouldnt have.

me - I put a new bulb in at work - but used the wrong sized bayonet cap - it went live as it touched down, but my fingers slipped down the side

bulb ended up across the restaraunt - narrowly missing some old guys soup!

Drilled through a mains cable once but somehow managed to avoid a shock.

Licking a battery at school was closest i've come

ive done a couple of times. but the far worst was when i was training at work, wiring up this switchboard my little pinky(as in finger) touched the end of a fuse. blew my hand back. made me feel really sick afterwards. bout ten minutes later i looked out the corner of my eye and i see my mates body just go all mental.. he looked at me with a woooo. and the nutter did it again

Would have been better if the electric travelled up through your 'metatarsal', heard enough of this bone to last me decades

I peed on sheep wire once, then deceided to grab it........... Well the shock was bloomin bad, i coudln't feel my arm and felt sick for about ten mins!

I did it last time I ironed a shirt cos it had a frayed cable, needless to say it was a fucking good excuse to not bother ironing again
