went to see my mate after work about rehanging my back box as it was knocking and rattling about.

in the end we ended up making a complete new back box for it.
its slightly louder than the old one but if i passes the mot with out the cat then he has offered to make me up the rest of the system again with a flexi joining it to the manifold.

whats peoples veiws? i think its so much more subtle and alot more "racey"

before :

after :

i also fitted my new zafira side repeaters with look 100x better than the oval led versions that no longer worked.

heres a photo of the splitter i fitted the day before PVS. not sure if many people noticed it or not. its off a seat codobra

and finally, a quick pic of the headlight bulbs with i have nicked from my bros car while its in the bodyshop.

HID's all the way

cheers for looking peeps

Looking great mate

Didnt notice the splitter but really like it. Think the Zafirsa side repeaters are the best mod

Also got a set of H4 Ultra White bulbs that I dont need anymore (were in my old B) £8.50 Posted to you mate

Looks loads better = less "chav"
For a even more race inspired look get down to B&Q and get a spray can of BBQ high temperature matt black paint, will look awesome!
I'm gonna do it to my Mongoose one when I get time.

it is for practical uses though iirc... not really an aesthetic's thing

p.s. really like this car - one of my fav's only a few things i'd change but the general route of modding is spot on

reason for not havin the cat is that it doesnt need it. the engine is a 1990 calibra engine so its before a cat was needed and as its fully declaired with the dvla, it should be mot'd as a 2.0 16v calibra on the emmisions which didnt have cats fitted to them

fit the bonnet properly. Not worth making it look crap if it doesnt have a proper advantage.
