On the 2nd of July I will be at Xscape in Milton Keynes (providing that is the right day, details are a little sketchy) on my skis trying to break the world record for the longest grind.
For those of you who don't know what a grind is, you jump on a big rail and slide down it like this...

The rail is going to be pretty much the length of the slope, I think we have to make it over 50 or 60 feet to break the record The longest rail I have done is about 12 foot

It's not going to be as high as that, it will be about knee height from what I am lead to believe because you need to be able to get off quite quickly....

Good Luck. 60FT!!
I skateboard and can appreciate the difficulty of balancing on a rail harder, than it looks.

A big mat filed with air with a large jump going onto it so you can attempt new tricks without hurting yourself too much...

Wont you bounce off that and then hit the ground? what about a foam pit?
