Just been announced that he has signed a 4yr contract for a straight cash deal est to be around 30mil. No idea of what wages he is on, but I would epxect something around £120,000 a week.
Personally I think this is a stupid amount to pay for someone who is 30 this summer, especially when you take into account his wage costs. I do think he'll score a fair few, but nothing like Henry or RVN does (did).
Oh...and I cant wait for him to come to Anfield and enjoy some of our songs about Istanbul just for him

theyre literally unbeatable though now, even if the players dont get along. only english team that can challenge em in terms of a season (man u) are wasting a full transfer budget on crap players, so its over already

if he pays a record transfer fee for them I might do yeah!!
I agree though, I expect alot of annoyed players during this season, especially if he doesnt allow certain players to leave this time round!

Man Utd need Kerlon, I've sung his praises all year and now Fergie needs his signature.

to be fair, chealsea had a lucky start to the beging of last season, where arsenal/manu (liverpool?) had a bad start...
they lost concentration for a while, whats to stop that happening again, and the others take full advantage?

Get over yourselves, we were only 1pt behind you this season.
I dont think its over to be honest. They can spend as much as they want, but till think it'll be a tight run race next year still.

all mourinhos success previously has been buying guys that will do exactly what he tells them to do in a defensive, counter attacking system.
His opening press conference he stated himself he will only ever gave 1 or 2 'superstars' within his squad, thats him got 8 or 9 who think they are imo.
Seems to be forces outwith his control buying players for him, i maybe talking shit though

Chelsea can only field 11 players per game, with a max of 3 subs, same as every other team in the Premiership, so all these superstars would only count for something if Mourinho rested first team players regular.

Quieroz went to see him at Cruzeiro in Feb 05, maybe they didn't like what they saw? Still an immense talent, could do with someone to hang back for Rooney if RVN goes.

all the top european clubs will be watching kerlon, but imo man u would be better served getting a midfielder in the mould of a tomas gravesen in and sorting ruuds continual spat with ferguson out

Christ...which team is living in the past now. If you really wanna go back then count up who has won more league trophies (and FA Cup, and European Cup, etc.). We were one point behind you, thats it. Not a million miles away. Doesnt matter what you have won in the past. Plus with you loosing your top scorer (RVN will be leaving to AC) you best find some money to reinforce your forwards and midfield to keep up with us, let alone Chelsea.

I think you might get Riq, you def wont get Gattuso as doubt he'll want to leave. Diarra will cost you too much (£20m+). If you do get Kerlon he wont play for a couple of seasons as wont get a work permit but would be a great buy still.
