I think that carragher shouldnt play there, he himslef said once upon a time he didnt like and felt he wasnt good enough to play in that role.

agreed, but glad he is in the team as deserves his place more than Rio. Atleast he did used to play in midfield so isnt going in blind.

Gerrard as attacking midfielder is  - playing just behide the front man.
i think players like crouch and walcott are good players to bring off the bench... u got crouch who isnt my fav player (actually i think he's poo ) but if things aint going our way we can bring him on i.e. long ball
ppl on the radio today were sayin why take Walcott and not defoe or some1 else.... why walcott is meant to be sh1t quick.... and if he was to be brought on with 15 mins to go and let lose to run at tired defeners then he may do really well.
IMO players like defoe have had their chance.... and have fecked it up
come on ENGLAND!

not looking too bad so far. Hungary have come for the draw and are keeping alot of men behind the ball. Our passing has been a little sloppy but its to be expected for our first full team fixture.
I expect us to still break them down and win it easily. But this is the kind of game, against a better quality opposition, that would be perfect to throw Crouch on for the last 25-30mins.
