Yes I heard it was going to have a 1.6 supercharged engine

I dont ike it at the moment but i dont think the paint/lack of gaffa tape look helps it

But reading the description, it sounds just like what Vauxhall need. Something thats better than the rest so they get taken seriously. Either that or it will be a complete failure.

i agree ed, if they actually do make it 200bhp then they will have a winner, if its a turbo then the tuning potential will make it a clear popular vote, so long as it doesnt handle like a boat then they have made it.

If the reality is a warm 1.8 like the last one then they might as wel have not bothered

They are tuning it one the 'ring so I think it's going to be a pretty serious little car. I can't wait to see one. For under £16k too, I'd buy one When I'm 25 and the insurance isn't £16k also

£16k seems a lot of money to me. I gues there pricing it along with similar spec cars, but there is a lot of choice for £16k...saying that, a 200bhp 1.6 does sound tempting, lol.

I think they should re-name the car to something different. There is too much snobbery. People wont buy the VXR because it's a Corsa. Sayint that, the Corsa is the best selling super mini in the UK isn't it?
