..I read the book in 2 dfays whilst I was in hospital back in january! I havn't read any reviews as journos waffle on about why the London Underground isn't what it once was But from what I've seen on the news its beem slammed by most people for its bad acting, mainly on Tom Hanks' part.

Anyone seen it yet, and more importantly, those that have read the book how disapointed were you with the adaptation?

Its one of those where you should watch the film before reading the book, so you can't be disappointed with the film. I have never read the book so liked the film, my sister read it, and she had mixed feelings on it.

Slamming Tom Hanks' acting is ridiculous, they say he's boring but he's meant to play a character who is quite boring... it's a fairly good film though but the book is better
