Has anyone been on holiday to Marmaris???
I got a fax through the office just now with offers for 5* all inclusive hotel - £318 for a week bottom line (inc transfers, tax, all food & drink etc)
Seems pretty good to me
Is it turkey you cant wipe your ass & flush the paper or am I thinking about somewhere else

Hotels to pick from are Marmaris Resort Hotel & Marmaris Palace Hotel - quick google on each checked out okay

I went to Marmaris about 10 years ago. Nice place but it was under construction then, they was building alot of new hotels etc but that will prob be all sorted now. Beach was nice. And yes there toilet systems arent very good...most places when u go out just have a hole in the wall to squat over...lol

thats scotland iirc 
they save the wipeage for christmas, makes good insulation and crispy wrapping paper 
Go tho, sounds good price, foriegn countries are all qite similar to me, don't matter where you, as long as its sunny, you can buy stuff you don't want and there's different food to try

yeah the sewer system cant handle paper been flushed down it, so you have to stick it in the bin, but hotels have actual toliets not holes.

i went to marmaris 2 years ago had a great time.took £600 and came back with £200 very cheap nice food (well the steak was) and cheap drink.keep of there lager tho its rank effes i think its called

I was there a few years ago!
Its true about the toilet paper. You can't flush it cos the sewer pipes are too narrow to take it. I kept forgetting tho and flushed loads and seemed to get away with it. Can't remember which hotel we stayed in but it was very nice.
Went to a Turkish bath and got scrubbed down and beaten up by fat Turkish blokes in their Y fronts!
Food and drink is very very cheap. 3 course meal and drinks for 2 for under a tenner.
Effes is the local lager...its good....it was so hot I would have drank anything tho! 40 degrees!

we were drinking 39p a pint and 39p a breakfast - no lie
average pint was a pound, clubs charged up to 4 quid a pint tho
very nice place, food is the best i have ever tasted, turkish food is amazing
can always bring back 100 pair of sunglasses/watches and sell them for 5er each lol

Might just get self catering then if its that cheap!! I like going out for food & not being stuck in the hotel 
Does anyone know what its like renting a car over there & what side of the road do they drive??

they dont have sides of the road, trust me!
i would NEVER drive over there - its crazy
self catering is the way to go, all inclusive is daft
we just booked a week from 12th june to 19th
3*+ b&b beach front hotel from teeside (expensive to fly from) £240 each all included, insurance etc
was 200 from newcastle airport
i would say 10 quid a day will buy u a nice meal and a snack
efes beer is amazing - its so smooth, just slides down. only place over here i know that sells it is netto - i drink it all the time
