All I can say is...OMFG!!
My mate has just taken me out for a spin in his Tomcat. We head towards a nice open stretch of motorway with no people and no traffic around 
Anyway off we went upto some silly speed, let's just say he was at 6kRPM in 5th gear 
He said he saw something getting closer in the mirror and moved into the middle lane to let it overtake, but as he got closer he saw it was a traffic Volvo with the lights/siren going  Obviously he was shitting it and to be honest so was I  so we started to slow down with the vaseline ready when the Volvo just shot past and left us standing........
Obviously we then looked at each other and started breathing again!
Stil can't believe what just happened, if he didn't have something important to attend to then my mate wouldn't even have a license right now!

its not a frigging tomcat, thats such a fucking gay name. its a rover 220 turbo coupe.
tomcat is the name people give it cos they are embarrased of it being a rover.

216 coupe, so yes the 1.6
It's not amazingly quick but compared to my 1.2 it is!

The same happened to me once. Doing about 90 down the motorway and a traffic Volvo came flying along. This time with no blue lights, siren or flashers and just flew past me... I pooped myself
