i prefer the early 80's 512's to the wedgey testarossa shaped ones..
like

1980 FERRARI 512 BBRosso Corsa with Sabia leather. 8,500 miles documented, leather interior, stereo, Alarm system, full service history including various MOT's and invoices. The 512 BB is complete with its original wallet and books. The original jack kit and spare wheel and a complete tool kit remain with the vehicle. This exceptionally low mileage 512 BB is a rare find with a known history and perfect original condition
78k though

The running cost of them is far too high to even warrent taking it out the garage more than once a month. Shame because they are nice cars. Even the new ones need services every, what? 10 miles?

I went fitting a Clifford on a 348 spider yesterday at a Ferrari specialist in Cheshire..
He was telling me the 348's 355's etc.. need a service at least once a year at a cost of approx £300 + VAT, and a cambelt & tappet change every 2 years at approx £1300 + VAT (inc regular service). But I can't remember what milage that would cover you for though...

^This was in AE yesterday.. he's selling it on behalf of the owner, and has known & serviced the car for the past 7 years.... its a stunning example - well worth a look if you're considering this model

I'd get a mint 348 if I was you, cost well under 40 grand, save the change for servicing etc.

we did a full front respray on one and the nose cone was damaged and has to get fixed by a specialist carbon fibre repairers!
also he smashed the light when he hit a pigioen doing about 130mph + and ferrari wanted £3,000 for a new one, managed to source a 2nd hand one for £1,500 so things arent cheap!
also 355 are nice to dirve, ive driven 2 now and they are by far the easiest to drive as you can actually see out of them!
