lol - I did laugh when that guy said good setup.

Though saying that, they handled a treat when I had the full kit on my corsa - just v.stiff, so on normal roads its uncomfortable - but on flat roads it used to be good

Mine handled brilliantly on G-Max suspension kit, just a shame it lowered it far too much. Still, for £220 the overall quality seemed quite good.

for those that have g-max, try a car with propper suspension. then say you are happy with the gmax kit.

spax are far better for the same sort of money. gmax is just cleverly branded and promoted shit. imo of couse

erm, I have a 106 gti (which is pretty good) with bilstein sprintline shocks and eibach springs now, which are supposed to be even better.

I think people just slate Gmax a lot of the time due to the brand / price. Handling isn't the problem with them imo, as they're rock solid. It's the comfort of driving on normal roads which lets them down.

Though obviously I'm not sure if I had wanted to take my corsa on track like my 106 but my corsa felt more stable a lot of the time, but maybe because I felt safer / no torsion bar on the rear swaying about.
