Got round to modding my air box.

After searching everywhere found some suitable 3.5" hose, its quite flexible and really smooth on the inside.

Here it is coming fo mthe airbox




It goes down behind the bumper, I cut a piece out of the splitter and this is where the hose appears, you can see it behind the piece iv cut out.



a few bits and pieces need tidying up but its pretty much sorted maf readings have gone up from 163g/s to over 170

no which is good, the sound of the recirc valve dumping is a bit louder

yes the more g/s the more air, and more vital in this case, cold air, is going through the system, hence more power, there is a rough calculation to work out how much bhp the MAF values give you

I wouldn't really worry about the air being cold on a turbo car, you are figting a loosing battle really.

I've been looking for similar piping, where you get that?

I thought a remapped K03S would be pulling more than 160-170. My K03 pulls 150, and i've sen other K03 do ~165.

tbh i think my maf is slightly on the blink, gonna try a new one
the pipe is from a place near me called evedine or eveside or summit can find the name out if you like, iv got a fair bit of pipe left over too

dunno, something to do with water, they had all sorts of pipe, this was for pumping water out of lakes etc, hence the nylon ribbed walls to stop the hose collapsing

for those people that like their proof

Iv tried to keep everything as similar as possible to ensure accurate results. The car was as close to the same running temps as possible on both runs, and both runs were done in similar atmospheric conditions, on the same stretch of road
