The insurance, and cost of a vtr and a corsa c sri would be totally different... how do you comprimise that?

get a vts/gti depending on insurance. Vtr's for the speed/insurance make a good runaround (bros just bought an 02 plate). As for corsa sri's i have a 1.8 although it dosen't feel too quick compared to the 106gti i had, it is more refined etc thoughly and feel smoother (and not french lol) but 106 was way more fun to drive.

swift gti cheap as chips and fast for such a small engine and insurance group.
0-60 8.5ish depending on what MK it is.

starlet gt a turbo in a tin can what more do you want.
0-60 bout 6.9 im led to belive?

also you need to give us an indication of insruance group, ammount to spend on car, if petrol and maintenance are an issue ?

a vtr is completely different, and has a completely different engine to a gti, gti is the same as a vts

Disagree with you there mate the VTS is the equivilant to the gti, both 1.6 16v whereas the vtr is the 8v
