this can't be right I've been quoted £986 for a corsa sport 1.4, and I've got 3 points and only been driving 6 weeks has anyone had any bad experiences with them cause this is an insanely good quote

nah mate it says if its a performance enhancing mod you won't be insured, so any wild kits will be ok I'm guessing not that I'd have a wild kit anyway

as long as it doesnt improve handling , performance or top speed then its cool!

So basically you could argue that your combat kit is only looks and doesnt help downforce.

and that your k&n is to help clean air into the engine to improve emissions!!

i think it would work anyway!

I got a quote from Quinn Direct too via confused.com and thought it was good until I rang Norwich Union Direct. They give 7 day free insurance to get any motor bought from Ebay back home so I gave them a call.

I was quoted £100 less (£350) for a 1.4 8v SRi which is £200 cheaper than what I was paying with Tesco for a 1.1 Mk3.5 Fiesta!

My gabber has never been flasted

Needless to say I'll be moving to them once I get my SRi on the road....after a little restoration work

EDIT: I have held my full licence for a year, 1 years NC, but they took my Provisional into account (16 years). Well happy.

They didnt have a clue what i was on about...

Any engine modifications ?

It's got a new inlet

Whats that ?

Gives the engine more torque

Not quicker then ?

No not at all

Maybe a rollcage would make the difference between a write-off and salvagable.....but I doubt it hehe

It would prolly raise a few questions as to how you drive your car though.

Generally they up quotes, i mean if you tell them your putting a roll cage in your car then they are going to think you might put it to use!
