followed a black R32 Golf from the gym today, i think i could get a fetish for these. But i know i would get bored with the lack of (by my standards) power.

Is there a reliable supercharger option for these?

yes, someone told me mk1 version was FWD and mk2 was 4WD so i was just checkign up before reposting.

they are both 4wd, so question is how much power can that drivetrain handle before it goes pop.

well, its an audi set up, haldrex built, so its bloody strong. should easily handle the 600bhp

audi have used haldrex bits for years, and theres been some silly (900bhp+) audis over the years.

buy one and turbo it. they do a 450bhp one too (but you'd have to be a pansy to want that)

yeah but as an everyday car, im not wanting to build a drag beast.

400bhp is more then enough practical power for everyday roads imo! anymore you cant really use it.

lol you guys are nutters, i only wanted a nice 300bhp ish suitalbe for daily use supercharged R32, not some mental ass rapist machine.

They are indeed as slow as fuck Seth. They also sound like the exhaust is blowing and have a bumpy ride and an uncomfortable steering wheel.

lol surely not that bad or slow?

maybe thats why the R32 in front of me was driving like a granny, scared he would get raped if he booted it

Id still have one though, getting a right VW fetish recently.

You would most definitely have raped it Seth.

In fact, I think his 'OWNED' warning light would have flashed up on the dash panel display.

Always thought I wanted one until I drove one, and it was a major dissapointment.

I was looking forward to it, and ended up realy shocked by how lame it turned out to be.

I'd rather have a nice silver 4 door 4Motion.

They don't shout about what they haven't got, and at least they look understated, sound nice, drive nicely and have a steering wheel that can be operated with human hands.

The R32 is definitely a case of all mouth and no trousers.

It definitely needs forced induction of some kind, aswell as a clutch that will cope.

R32 golfs are shocking in term of straight line performance...

I totally shocked one or two in my old Astra
