I keep thinking I want a pet of some sort but not sure what.

I really want a dog but living at home means I cant have one at the moment for a few reasons.

My Mum has a cockatiel and its the most annoying fucking thing ever so I dont want any birds

Not into snakes, spiders or reptiles.

Been thinking of getting some fish as when I'm round at my mates house he has a biggish tank and they are relaxing to watch but then you dont really get to interact with them if that makes sense.

What pets do you have that are different to the norm? Anyone got a chinchilla or anything mad like that What they like to look after? can you stroke them or are they vicious? just after some ideas

get a cool looking tank with 1 or 2 biggest fish in.

say a couple of cichlids, they have more personality than crappy little pretty things that dart about

I've found a good site all about Degus and I'm reading through it now.

I still quite like the idea of Chinchillas too

Rats do make really good pets, get to know you etc, get females ones though because males stink like piss if you don't clean them out everyday
