Im sick of the excuses. I recently put on lowering springs to my car, they phoned up 2 days ago saying that i need new ones cuz the car is too low. another 180 on my bill. Im gonna have a right go at them when im next down.

i can 100% tell you now if ur not happy and still dont pay the full price you will not get your car back, a lad gave his nova too them that had it for 6-8months and in that time all they did too it was fit bumpers and nothing else, the guy refused too pay, they wanted something like 2k+ and say if he dont pay they will torch the car or sell it on, they were basically telling him too pay 2k for about £300's work of work they did in the 6-8months.

Like I said before I am a trainee solicitor!

u2u me all the FACTS and I will be quite happy to give you pointers!

Also if you're not happy with the work they do they can only:

1. Be given the first chance (as opposed to another bodyshop) to rectify shoddy work for no cost
2. Lower the bill

Couple of my housemates are in with the big city firms, I's sure they're up-to-date on their contract law
