Got a nail in my tyre, so took it to the tyre place down the road for it to be repaired, whilst i was in there some pompus tw@ in his porsche was also having his tyre repaired.

Both got our bill at the same time, which obvioulsy was the same as it was the same job on both cars.

The tw@ passed comment that I should have bought a porsche as it cost the same.

I jokingly replied, "haha yeah, can swap if you like"

Idiot looked at me in disgust and said "No thanks"

So I looked back and said "Is it a boxster? if so you can keep it" (i could only see the front end, so couldnt tell if it was a carrera or boxster)

He went dead silent, and as he reversed out, lo and behold it was a boxster

They're still great handling cars and, they also looks good.

noone seems to be getting the point to all this

of course i would swap, and sell the boxster in a snap and buy something else, but the point to all this was not aimed at making the boxster out to be a crap car, it was to get this rich twat off his high horse, which worked

if you were rich enough to own any kind of porsche you would not be stupid enough to waste it on a boxster

if it had a differnt badge on it, then it wouldnt be so bad, but you dont buy a porsche to be a fanny in

what jezza said was 100% true, people look at you and think, you dont quite earn enough to buy a proper porsche
