How do you do this, and stop your car from smelling bad Especially as the dog has been out on the farm today and is soaking wet.
Stupid thing has to go for physiotherapy
Could I put her in a plastic bag with an airhole?

put it in the boot unless you have a saloon. if its on back seats and you crash its weight will multiply by up to 8 times and you will have 50 stone hitting the back of your head at 60mph.

Put it in the back of a car and put a sheet over the seats, then you spray the car with fabreeze when you take it out

my mum has a special ramp and dog bag for our 2... the washing machine car is so high its the only way the old one can get in... it's ever so gay/posh/sad
p.s. the dog bags are hilarious when they fall over and can't get back up

Grrrr... I put some sheets down in the boot, the dog jumped in and then lept straight over the rear seat and lied down there
I now have dirty seats so I have to shampoo them

a friends lack lab wont travel in the car unlesss it can be in the front passenger footwell.
you open any door and it will just beeline for the front footwell. even if there's someone sat there.
most amusing.

You can't.
Dogs smell bad.
Consequently, dog in car, equates to bad smelling car, and fire is the only way to get the smell of a dog out of a car.
NEVER put a dog in a car if you value the car at all, and aren't about to scrap it.
Walk or carry the dog everywhere/anywhere it has to go, or rent/buy/borrow a van, or get one of these 'Pet-Cabs' firms to do the dirty deed.

Got a black Lab called Charlie.
He's lovely, but i'd buy a van before letting him anywhere near the inside of any of our cars.
He'd turn any car into a total loss inside of about 5 mins I think.
He had to have an op last year, and weekly dressing changes.
We had him chauffered to the vets and back every time in style in a nice lady's mobile grooming parlour van thingy, complete with ramp and all mod cons.
Cost a bloody fortune.
He's worth every penny though, bless him.
