How is it you work it out again??

I done it before but forgot how & cant be arsed thinking it through

63 Litres of Fuel @ 95.6p/ltr

Not run it dry yet but assumming I get 500 miles from that whats the damage

To get litres in to Gallons divide by a factor of 4.546

So 63/4.546 = 13.8 (close enough anyway)

500miles/13.8 Gallons = 36.23 MPG

I think thats the right way to do it anyway

I get about 40 in my run about.

The almera used to get about 20-24 depends how much id rag it or not

thats why your MPG is so low then. lots of gearchanges, low speeds, sitting in traffic going no where.

i know just expected it to not be so poor

i will do a proper test though because i always fill up when i get down to a quarter tank

so next time i'll take it to the red light

For ever gallon of beer i drink i can probably walk about 200m
