had the car on the road for a week now,
here are a few pics, its bit dirty tho!!!!
on 1st day the car shreaded it new fan belt in 5 miles, we finally got the old belt back on and thats been fine so happy about that!!!!
the car does not seem as fast the the astra but feels so much safer and u can drive it alot harder than u could every the astra, also traction is amazing, 1st gear traction if u want to pull away really fast from traffic lights or summit is instant, u just got to be ready to grap 2nd very fast after u launch!!!
and the best bit of the car has got to be the handling, its so much fun to drive.......... just loves going round corners and stays so stable its ace!!! still getting used to it but just feels so good round corners, wud be even betta with some wider tires on the front!!! to get little extra grip!!
all in all really enjoying the car, lovely with roof off also which is most of the time so long is the rain is not out!!!!
not sure wot i am doing with the car now, c wot insurance say after me 30day cover note, then decide if to keep for another year while its under warrenty or sell up which people are wanting soft tops!

Looks cool! If your going to sell now is the time to do. Should be in demand ready for the summer?
If you keep it paint the air intakes in the rear quarters black!

loosing back end?!?!?! thats pretty scary, not had any of that!!!! feels really solid, went round a round about few tims and cos the wheels are so skinny the front loose grip before the back so seems pretty good for the back not coming out!!
i can imagine if u pushed the car over the limit then u wud not have chance to corect a slide or anything!!!

Fan belt
I spoke to the bloke with the vx at castle combe yesterday.
He said it was his intention 'to get the back end out' at every opportunity. Obviously he's more into drifting than speed
edit: spelling (lack of)

yea but y did they no promote it more, its surely is one of or is the fastest car they have made to 60mph and prob best handling car they have made but they never promoted it to sell it! real shame!!!
not sure engine is running properly yet, its drinking fuel more than my astra ever did!!!! and tank is only small, have to drive 15miles to get optmax so use part of the tank getting the petrol.........hehe

shhhhh,
The vx is a great car.....nice little secret to keep lol.
Are you going to Thorneys RR day? Believe me a £500 re-map is a very very good investment on a VXT
