I don't particularly care about PVD or Pete etc. my curiousity only concerns the car FFS.

To be honest, its not really stirring. If the owner of the car has it taxed, insured etc as a 1.4 its the rest of us honest car owning folk who lose out

My guess would be that its not declared correctly, which is between the DVLA and the owner, and possibly whoever feels strongly enough to report it.

A thread on here, which will end up discussing all manner of issues from whether such drivers are in fact the scum of the earth, to whether PVD did in fact rip thousands of people off, is not really in our best interests.

Well I don't particularly care about the other 'issues' I just wanted to find out a bit more information about this car. Does he still own it, or does someone else own it?

If people want to start a Pete Dennis/PVD hate thread then that's up to them; that' not the purpose of this particular thread.

Jesus why does everything on this bloody site have to turn into an argument of some description.

Its a blue car first registered in July 1995, which Petes was, which indicates to me that the reg is more than likely still on the same car.

Last I heard it was being broken for parts, does anyone know what happened to the actual car itself?

Pete gave it to Pipercross for some reason
its still being broken for parts on pipercross.net
as far as i know, its not in bits as of yet, so the engine and reg are still in/on it
if you really want to know Sam, i'll have a word with Joff and see whats going on
god knows why it doesnt seem to be registered correctly, but i could find out if Pete still spoke to me
