about 650kg i think
so probably 120bhp per tonne
fairly nippy, but would have been better with a bigger engine IMO

The good thing about mini's though is because theyre so low down, they feel faster than they really are. The handling is also amazing.

Nobody would suspect a thing, until you vapourised the back tyres and drove away diagonally.
Mini is a little cracker too.
Edit: Twin Cam 'scort too Rare as rocking horse vomit, and will be LARGE dough.

Yeah.
Minter will cost you 15k or possibly more now.
That said, bidding aint' finished yet.
I remember seeing an ex Vatanen Rothmans car go for about 46K in the classified section of Autosport in about 1990/91.
Dread to think what a mint RS1600 would go for now aswell.
Especially a nice Alan Mann tarmac racer.

Probably worth double that now.
Trouble is, it would cost you 75k+ to build an equivalent car.
So whether it's heritage vehicle or modern replica, you're gonna lose your shirt.
Wish I had money. Would go silly motorwise.

It will wipe the floor with most Corsa's. My brother's Mini Sprite is in a totally differant league to my old Sport.
