Can anyone recommend me one as ive no idea whats what with the current ranges. I only listen to CD's & listen to radio, dont want nothing too fiddly either with daft flashing lights
Quite like my old Alpine but stupidly gave it away with the car
Oh forgot budget - erm bout no more than 200

was gonna say current ones out have auxillery input on the front fascia so you dont need to carry loads of cds in the car

My old Alpine was great, never had any trouble with it in 2 years...mates had Pioneers,Sony's etc, came nothing near

That looks decent enough, alpine hardware always seems to be top quality IMO

I've had my Alpine for 3 year's now and i'm very pleased with it. I initialy bought it because of it's reputation, but it has'nt casused me any problems.

I've got an ancient Alpine headunit had it in my car for nearly 6 years now and its never gone wrong unlike my mates kenwoods/pioneers
Want to replace it as it doesnt play MP3's so definately looking for another Alpine

Bought this one from my local place, £30 more than online but I wanted it today to fit 
Had to get a face plate thingy too which they had so just got it......happy with it so far - think I still need to connect straight to the battery though like my last one, not sure

I am quite tempted but new clutch/gear linkage/inner CV's must come first
