Weather was superb yesterday, so I thought I would spend some time cleaning the car.

A 'quick' wash became a few hours of proper scrubbing:red:

Its finally starting to feel like my car the more I spend money on it

This weeks mods include the Millteck cat back exhaust system, inxx bonnet lifters and a little turbo badge on the boot.

Im still not happy with some aspects of the car, but these will all be addressed when it goes into station bodyshop in 2 weeks

Eibachs are still on back order....Should change the stance quite a bit8)

Pics..

Wearing plenty of Megs...

My new Turbo badge - how they can charge £13.50 is beyond me!

New Armster, heater rings...door pins out of shot

Nearly done - note the inxx bonnet lifters (essential mod imo)

Tidy rear end...new smaller plates, exhaust and badges. Hoping to get some Jewel lights asap too

Side view - Wheels are being refurbed whilst at the bodyshop.

Fronyt view - unsightly stone chips, cracked fog light and shite numner plate will be sorted whilst at bodyshop...as will the on-going battle with condensation in the lights. These will be replaced under warranty soon.

All done...

Really pleased with the finish

I am swaying to Megs stuff. Used to use Autoglym for everything but found some free Megs samples from last years PVS and had nothing to do one day so tried them and now prefer Meguiars....

Good plan...

Im glad I bought this over the 330ci 'vert. Hands on modding again which is something I missed when owning the Merc.
Ok the bimmer was classier and excelled eveywhere, but it wasnt me Plus a house is on the agenda soon

GSi is tame tbh. I will be going for 270bhp by the end of the year.

Black car = stone chips

Having the bonnet re-done, bumper, passenger door (large chip), wheels are being re-furbed, and new foglights fitted as one is cracked.
Also having my power pipe colour coded to match the exterior colour of the car.

Bought new rear lights last night too Very rare ultra jewel rear lights. Red/clear/red
