The good news
Got email from guy I bought grill from saying he is selling his smoked front lights, whole unit not just the bezels i was going to buy from Volvo.

So on Saturday I will be meeting and picking up 2 front smoked headlights for £50, i just have to buy the indicators

Then the bad
Sort of bang/knock coming front front when changing gear etc...So took it to Bro in laws garage..Needing 2 engine mounts...Excessive play in them which causing the knock...Will be about £150 fitted

But happy about lights

Need to phone volvo about indicators...

this is what the lights will look like and indicators..

yeah best get it done....

Headlights are as OE part on some newer s40's..But very pricey for whole unit....

So £50 is a bargain...

Indicators ar and OE part from volvo too, not that dear if I remember right....

Once lights are done i'm going to buy a phase 2 S40 front bumper which looks bit better than my phase 1,and i'll get rid of the headlight wipers and washers so it's smoother... then it's engine time

There is alot out there for S40's, alot of german and scandanavian companies...

Better to spend the £100 odd than have to pay more later if something more serious happened and im sure the lights will cheer you up when you have them fitted on the car
