Id try to get something new-ish(but thats just my choice) & as good as M3's are for that money its going to be 8-10 yr old My moneys going on a 03 plate Focus RS very very shortly....maybe need 12-13k for one though.

v6 clio is a good car to have..... i do like them, but yans got distroyed by an m3 lol howevere that was a new m3 smg

hmm id look at either an RX could get a mint rebuilt one for 8K

Also consider an Audi TT or lotus elise id say S2K byut you said theres loads round MK

what about an Evo 5.

You could get an M3 Evo convertible for that too?

M3 will get boring quicker imo.......there great cars but id say more a cruiser than a balls wet fun car

Saying that all cars get boring after a while, all those you picked are vastly different, decide what you need/want the most from a car & hopefully get a better idea from that & help you narrow it down. Last thing you want to do is spend 10k then regret what you bought 4 weeks later. My requirements are 5 seats, turbo, Decent-ish mpg & insurance, 3yrs old max, couple nice extra's like brembo's & quality seats & nice styling to help me beat my modding bug Thats how I arrived at the RS
