I know they came in the 8v and the 16v. Was it the older models that came in the 8v and the newer ones the 16v? Seeing as the sport was the 16v also. The B Im talking about btw!

Yes the SRi's are all mainly 8v being produced early in Corsa Production.

The 16v's are resonably rare really you dont see a great deal before they changed to sport.

My friend had a N reg SRi and it was a 8v but someone is telling me that their N reg SRi is a 16v

Just a bit confused thats all!

Yeah its a bit puzzling lol!
My ex's N reg sport was 1.4 16v so wouldnt of thought they would have the SRi out at same time being the 16v since that would be basically the same car lol

Mine's a 1.4 8V SRi and my friend also has the same but on the change over M reg with the V-grille on 16V

You mean 8v

8v - 82bhp
16v - 89 or 92bhp i think.

Ohh Ok, now i know lol,. I thought the 16v was quicker aii, Does the 1.4 16v sri have the same engine as the sports then? i mean will both sound the same with an induction kit? couse sports sound wicked.

No the sports have an extra cam

The engines are totally different.
