great cars.... ignore what folk say about reliability, blowing up etc....

They will do that if the owner doesnt understand turbo's etc.

Mine had 170ish bhp, 180+lbft..... 14.7 1/4mile..... was a beast

to be fair yours was a GT1 low comp. newer ones are higher comp. personally I was glad to be shot of mine

they are not slow to be fair. strip a GT to JR's level and it will make a difference.

1.4 8v yes....

Mine had 136bhp as standard. Later GT3 has 132 i think....

Mine was a GT1, with GT3 body bits

have to say ive only ever driven one punto and it has to be the most uncomfortable car ive ever driven. was also absolutely gutless too! as someone else in this thread stated: stay away!
