do you mean a quick once over? Nipping down to the local quick wash place? Or spending a day polishing it?

waste of time doing it properly in the winter. Nipping down the local place to give it a quick wash is ok though!

Love cleaning my car in the summer and getting everything shining like new.

I still clean it fairly thoroughly in winter but not as often or as in quite as much detail as gets dirtier quicker. Do enjoy cleaning it though

My car is well dirty from the snow on tuesday, but just not cleaned it yet, as it will only get dirty next day.

I love my cars, but there's no way they're getting washed between November and May.

Yes washing cars is a total waste of time as you dont gain anything in the long run. But its one of those things that has to be done.

always good to polish it even in the winter, makes it so easy to clean next time, and gives it a protective coat

You do gain in the long run though.
I'd rather have a car thats been treated properly than one that never gets washed.
The well treated one will be in a lot better condition.
