Having a convo with my friend, he thinks a starlet would beat an evo

Would it?

I know the evo has more bhp but its a heavy car, the starlet is light

EVO is also 4x4


Most Starlets are 130bhp+

my mates glanza is 170 bhp at the wheels.

he pulls 13.8 sec quarters at crail

Not bad going for a 1.3

my m8s is roughly 180 ish and it is quick but an evo would have it i rekon, depending on the evo tho. although ic can hump a R33 skyline Gtst

sure is. Anyone who knows the car knows its a fooking flyer. Dunno about it beating an evo thou. My old GT4 was around the 300 bhp mark and it beat him but i tell ya, he wasnt a million miles away.

yea there rapid low down, i love my m8's such a fun wee car, its stripped out on coilovers front and rear upper and lower strut braces, it sticks to the road like no other car ive been in

The starlet or the evo with the skyline?

Say it was a 5 with about 350bhp. This is what we are using as an example and he thinks the starlet will beat it with a few mods done to it

The Evo would tonk it out of site! Silly question Standard Evo 0-60 circa 0-60 in 4.6, 0-100 in 12.5 odd, 276 ft lb, 280bhp etc - not that heavy really, 210bhp per tonne as standard iirc. Start to work on the engine and those figures increase rapidly.

Evo defo.

I have seen a vid of a few japs racing around a track and the starlet beat a fair few evo's and imprezzas don't know how much power it had.

I'd defo fancy the evo 9 times from 10 een if the starlet was highly modified.

Starlet turbo owners generally think their cars are the fastest thing on the road. Then when you go up to crail you see them get ass raped by scoobs evos integras clio cups etc etc etc.

chall's ran a 14.9 m8 there isnt a starlet in scotland thats ran anyfaster than 14.5/6 yet but am sure by the summer that will be different
