yer that does tri's. for the lower back, we have a machine at our gym that you lie at about 45 degrees facing the floor, then you bend right over nearly headbutting the floor, then raise back up (almost like a backwards sit up) these are really good for your lower back!

Loads of variations for both. Try sticking to free weights rather than machines though. Machines do have their place in a routine, but the majority should be with free weights.

Chest: Flat/incline/decline bench press, you can also switch it up by using dumbells instead. Dumbell flyes, dips. Those are the basics, then you've got the others like cable cross over flyes etc

Back: Wide gip chin ups, wide grip lat pull down machine. The Daddy = deadlifts. Bent over barbell rows. One arm dumbell rows. Seated cable rows etc

Chest and back are big muscles, hit them hard. I usually do 12 sets for each.

Hard to explain mate, but both are the mutz nutz for back thickness. Do a search on them, theirs plenty of sites with diagrams and even videos of how to perform lifts with good form.

A bent over row is basically where you stand with feet shoulder width apart, grab a barbell at around shoulder width, bend over at around a 45 degree angle and bring the bar upto stomach level in a rowing motion. Lower bar and repeat.

Steves a big lad, i doubt he'd be able to do chin ups. If you're heavy it's near impossible to rep out sets. I find this also, so i stick to wide grip lat pull downs.
