ask to meet halfway
I'd be willing to do that if the person sounded interested and genuine.

be less than genuine, but sound interested :S
Maybe there is a local owner nearby that would take you for a spin, let you have a look round the car etc?
Do they have a site?

It's not a bad car, based on the old Merc SLK chassis.
However, I'll never be able to get Jezza's comment out of my head that it resembles this:

WTF is that on the back?
Thing with black is that it hides surface treatments, reason why you see very few concepts unveiled in black. On a car you're not keen on, it can be beneficial...

check this out...
15k
Low mileage 450 Cerbera in Metallic Montreal blue.
This car had every factory extra when it was bought new:- full doeskin & prussian blue hide including the door cards, dark blue wool carpets with doeskin piping, air con, hydratrak & quad lamp conversion.
No expense has been spared on the upkeep of this car, I have bills totaling about £9000 since 2000, including a new clutch in 03 and £2150 that I spent on the it in November 05 (1000 miles ago) at Offord motor Co when it had a full service including tappet adjustment & new shims, new lambda sensors, new throttle pots, new uprated front shocks & springs and new poly bushes, so its well sorted.
This car had a cat D insurance claim in 2004 when it suffered light damage to the off side wing, a new wing was profesionally fitted and the car was fully repaired by the previous owner.
This Cerb is in excelent condition, it is always garaged, it has been de-catted so it sounds great & breathes a bit better (I still have the original cats & they will come with the car), has a Pioneer wood effect front loading CD which matches the dash, its mot'd til November 06 and has full TVR sevice history, services as follows:-
1000 mile 02/03/98 - 1154 miles - TMS
6000 mile 03/03/99 - 5128 miles - TMS
12000 mile 23/02/00 - 9340 miles - TMS
18000 mile 24/09/01 -15116 miles - Waldonway
24000 mile 25/02/02 -17191 miles - Waldonway
30000 mile 13/01/03 -20114 miles - Waldonway
36000 mile 27/10/05 -26365 miles - Offord Motor.
This car has been my weekend toy and I am only selling it as I would like to buy an american Ford F150 Harley Davidson truck that I have seen so I need cleared funds asap in order to buy it, So I will let it go for £15250
A sorted low mileage 4.5 Cerb for the price of a 97 4.2!

That's gorgeous.
Love the interior, looks like it's been grown rather than made
