Want to join a club The main reason is I want to show the Nova at PVS and Billing, and seeing as Novaload won't be having a stand at PVS I thought it time to join one or the other.

Which one?

Opinions of both?

its £35 a year
you get a magazine, keyring, badges from each show for windows etc which are quite nice

vxlscc is pretty mature though im by far the youngest in my region
but it put me in contact with dave franzak - v tuning. the skunkworkz boys, spankee with the c20let vectra, the list goes on!

At the moment swaying more towards VxlSCC because of the standard of car they have on their proper club stands looks quite good.

After been a member of both clubs id say MIG to be honest. I joined Vxlscc late 2004 for the £35 and i have to say its one of the best run clubs i am a member of as there welcome pack is more than one letter with a couple stickers like MIG but i never used the site, did not like the forum etc so was a waste of £35 (might not be for you).... when my membership ran out i joined MIG and use that site much more and prefer the forum etc and have used discounts via MIG membership. Vxlscc's forum is not used as much are MIG aswel.

OJC

Im a have been a member of both clubs.

But i have always reamained a member of the VxSCC (they have dropped the L out of it now )

The difference is MIG really is web based, alot busier than VxSCC granted but VxSCC is far more mature and the standard of cars is excellent.

Its the only club actually backed by Vauxhall themselves and it shows.

Yep you might pay £35 for membership, but i recently had a full day out at Triple Eight enginnering (who bulid the touring cars) and the new VXR performance center which did not cost me a single penny.

Obviously you get a magazine which is professinal publication, insurance discounts and the norm.

Generally the only benifit i found of MIG was members access to different forums to be honest that is not a general thing but specific to me i think.

The thing with the VxSCC is you have to be a Vauxhall enthusiast to make all the benifits worthwhile.

Im a regional organiser for the VxSCC and i find it excellent all round.

Teddy, good post

I've joined up with VxSCC now, its very professional and I'm looking forward to being able to attend all the different outings they have.

Ian, says on Novaload they won't be having a stand this year, dunno why.
