Most banks I think have a limit of £1500 withdrawel on the day, so you could take out 1500 one day and 500 the next. But I also expect if you give them a day's notice you would be able to take out the full £2000, after all it's your money and if you want it who are they to stop you?

Either way you will need possibly 2 forms of ID such as passort/driving licence and a bank statement.

Never heard of a 1500 limit......as far as I know you can withdraw whatever funds you have when you want, obviously larger amounts need a bit of notice for them to get the funds in but in saying that even the smallest of banks will hold 5 figure sums in cash!!

I took £5k out for a car once, I simply went inside the back with my card, told them I wanted to take the cash out and the machine will only let me have £300, they gave me it there and then, no questions....

You need to ring the bank and inform them you want to take this amount out on such a day.

You will also need ID

Robbing a bank would be relatively easy + you don't need to phone in advance or any id!

You go in with your cash card and say:

"Hello sir, may I withdray £2,000"

They will say:

"Can I have your account card please"

You give them your card and they will sort the money out for you and then say:

"Can you sign this recipt please"

You will then walk out of the bank with your £2,000.

They even have a room in the back of some banks that you can go to to withdraw large sums of money. There is no difference in withdrawing £20 as there is withdrawing £2,000.

You probably woont have to give any notice but it might be worth checking. It'd be a bit of a cunt if you got there and they wouldn't give you it

I had to withdraw £1500 from my Visa card once, all I did was just turn up and ask to withdraw it, I think all I had to do was sign something.

Mind you this was from the main HSBC branch in Oxford, if you go to a little village branch of your bank or whatever you might have to phone ahead etc.
