i've been busy over the last few weeks. i decided to have a smooth boot, so off i started doing that. then, when i was sat looking at the van i thought smoothed in skirts would look good, so i set about doing that. then i realised i couldn't have smoothed skirts without the arches being smoothed in. so you guessed it, i've done them too!
i've also had a new exhaust made for it. i think its an improvement on the old one! i'll be alterring it again later anyway!
below are some pics of what i've done so far!

just going to stick to white. might try get a brighter white too.
i'm a little undecided as to whether to paint the bonnet the same colour or leave it balck?
other plans are to get some throttle bodies and a better manifold for the XE hiding under the bonnet

Id paint it all white tbh - because I bet as soon as you have the respray, carbon bonnets etc wont be particularly poular and it will immediately make ur car look dated! Plus imo it'l look far smarter all one colour

I like the way you have done the smoothed arches. Looks better than when other people have smoothed arches in.
Cant help but think its all going to crack though

spray it MINI Arctic white and that is a very brght white that has a very tiny hint of blue in it but looks nice!
Its the color used on mini roofs!
also make sure u get those arches smooth and round and would be a bit concerned about why the primer is all cracking!
alot of work still to do on that booth by the looks of it but looks gd overall!

its been done for 3 weeks now and hasn't cracked (fingers crossed)! the passanger side skirt has also been banged on a speed bump pretty hard and it sustained it. the skirts and arches are solid. i bonded and left the screws in for the arches and the skirts have brackets underneath.
the boot needs a load of work to get it somewhere near. its a bit wavey at the mo, but i was just geeting the look to start with
i don't know why the primer cracked? i used a rattle can but within seconds it went like that. maybe i didn't shake it enough or it doesn't like those fibreglass skirts.
anyone have any ideas as to what rear lights i should have. thinking of changing them.
p.s, sorry for the essay!

i'v managed to do the drivers side now. its nearly there. just a little more smoothing on the rear arch then thats done and i can then concentrate on the boot and then give everything a check over!
