specs for the saxo are :Engine Size: 1587 cc
Cylinders: 4

Power Output: 120 bhp
Valves: 16
Torque: 107 lb/ft
Top Speed: 127 mph


and the pug are:
Engine Size: 1997 cc
Cylinders: 4
0-60 mph: 8.0 s
Power Output: 138 bhp
Valves: 16
Torque: 190 Nm
Torque: 143 lb/ft
Top Speed: 130 mph


so yes the pug is better top end!

206 is obviously quicker but i wouldn t say by loads

i'm quite surprised with the torque of the vts thats not much better than the vtr

I got the impression he was talking about it being faster in higher gears in which case it def looks like thats the case!

yes, due to the extra torque, the 206 will feel much quicker in higher gears.

Very nice Twiggy You find the pedals are randomly offset to the left a bit though?! Used to bug me in my 206 learner car!

build quality is not the best. mate just traded his in for mk4 golf gti and siad it makes the gti feels so cheap and crap inside

not being funneh but you cant really compare a VW to PUG..

I mean its loads faster top end... where as you would be searching for gears in the VTS the GTI just floor it in 5th and your away...

One thing i dont like is the petrol useage

compared with the saxo its loads better

the size 15's have room to move!
