Would you change a standard panel filter for an induction kit or just get a performance panel filter?

Matt said on his Calibra it ran better with the standard airbox and air filter. When he fitted a K&N into the box it was a bit rough...

I reckon its down to personal preference and the end of the day.
High-flow panel filters are exactly that. Don't think there is thattttt much difference between a cotton gauze or a foam one etc.

Get the prettiest one...

I know you don't get to see it
Just get the one that you think is the prettiest anyway. Peace of mind, knowing you might not have "the best", but you have "the prettiest"

Stu, dont even bother with any type of air filter mate, i found a k&n pannel filter gave me a load of flat spots through the rev range. i would just sor aout a cold air feed to the airbox..
dont forget with a standard air box i still made 263 bhp with a weak actuator, they estimated 295bhp, i doubt and induction kit would make any difference. spend the money on an xe inlet cam and vernier pully

if its got that lot already, add on the xe inlet cam on a vernier pully. and those injectors i have. plus a few little sneeky things and you should see more than that..

my old cally was only on phase 1
