3.5x ur salary or 2.5x if joint application.

4-5x if u get parents as guarantors

Mines done on affordability as my 70k mortgage would have been 4 - 5 times my annual salary...

Affordability is muchos better IMO, but see an advisor if you are seriously thinking about buying that way u know your limits
