whatsnthe stats on the 170, beat one before i had to keep backing off or i would have hit him....

thats not to impressive i would have though was faster, my swift gti does 0-60 in low 8's cost a lot less to lol

Yeh maybe she's getting confused between the power of the new ST and the old ST... go and see if she knows which model she's got...
My mate at uni since I got the 106 Gti and started tuning it a bit really wants to get a quicker car.
He loves fords and currently has a 1.8 16v Focus - 115 bhp... My gti just leaves it behind, he's under some sort of illusion that when if he gets a St170 I'll be in his dust due to him having 170 bhp and my car being standard 120.
I've explained my car isn't standard and has 140, and also my car doing 0-60 close to 7 secs and quarter mile in low 15's... His ST170 even with 170 does 0-60 in 8 secs and around 16 1/4 mile.
Oh well, I'll let him waste a lot of money and then I'll kill him I keep telling him to get a Audi A3.

yeh but he's very anti chav - anti car modding... all my house mates are. They all fucking rip the piss because my exhaust is loud. Just got a exhaust manifold and they're all saying - fucking hell is that gonna make your car louder.
