well i havent posted some pics for a while so thought i would show you the progress ive made over the last few months it doesnt look like much but its getting there slowly, working in a car park in winter is not the most motivating situation in the world! Ive also run out of money again so need to source some cash asap bloody studen loan just isnt enough these days!

welded rear turrets in and new axle with lsd fitted

sitting lovely on the -100mm springs but think its gonna be too low and ill have to raise it as not certain where im gonna run the 2.5 inch bore exhaust yet

ally tank and fuel pump all fitted into the boot neatly

so its coming along nicely just need to remember to take some more pics but i only have my phone to take them with! Only prob is that with the 4.7 diff and gearbox ratios that i have means that to do 70mph ill be at 5000rpm in 5th which will mean 1st and 2nd will be good for sideways action but not too good on the track so im gonna have to change that but ill have sme fun first

Andy you are my hero.

Can't believe you're pulling that sh*t off; on a student loan, and getting top bargains into the deal to make it all come together.

You can come and live next door to me and we can take cars apart in the freezing cold

Keep up the excellent work moosh.

It's difficult building cars and being a student at the same time

Every time I see some more stuff added to this car it makes me want to stop pissing about with new school hatches and do something a bit more retro A friend of mine's borther has a similar project going on, but it's a 2.0 Viva
