As everyone with the ability to read knows, we don't approve from free email addresses. So imagine my surprise when I get the following email:

--

From: "[snip]" <[snip]@gmail.com>
To: "Corsa Sport" <ian@corsasport.co.uk>
Sent: Sunday, February 05, 2006 6:21 PM
Subject: Re: Registration denied

why have i been denied? i wouldnt reccomend your site to anyone now

--

So naturally I was a bit upset at not having the site recommended on a mere misunderstanding, so I took the time to explain the situation:

You are using a free email address, which in order to register with you must email first.

When you email, we make a manual note to approve the account, and advise you to re-register, and manually approve when you do so.

If you tell us you won't recommend us to anyone, we don't generally accept second time around.

Cheers

Shortly after I got the truth out of him

I'm going to start posting more of these as I do get funny ones. Remember folks, its just a precaution, we like new people, just not offensive ones

If there was a maximum post size then listing your user names would fill it.
