........seen a nice bmw convertible for sale on autotrader yesterday, so rang the lady up and it was still for sale, only problem was its 255 miles away and its lunchtime and i know for the price she was asking it would get snapped up right away (missed a few now 'cos of me dawdeling)

anyways, got to ten past 3, and the guys i work with were going on at me that i should get it, so i thought ahh feck it, rang my local bank branch (25 miles away) to arrange to pick up the money the same day

got to 3.30 and i knew i would not get 25 miles to darlington by 4pm so i took a risk and stopped off in boro to see if they had the cash in available, which usually takes 2 days notice, but i blagged it and managed to get it there and then!

rang my dad up at 4, told him i needed a lift to kingston at 5, so he finished work and came home, then a good mate of mine ended up comming round and joining us on our mission

set off at 5.40, got to kingston for 9.30, car was amazing

has loads of extras i didnt even ask about, mint leather, electric seats, warrenty (lol), air deflector etc etc

set off back at 11.40pm, and got in at 3.30am, then back to work at 7

averaged 80mph with the cruise control on for the way back and returned 36mpg on a 2.2 straight 6 thats quite good i thought, also sooooooo nice to drive, absolutly amazing

pics to follow once i see the car in daylight pmsl

ps - big thanks to jr, u2u me your pay pal addy mate, cheers once again

How did you feel about seeing the beautiful south? Especially Kingston-On-Thames.

it has standard bumpers and wheels, it shall be staying this way, unless i get sport bumpers and wheels and lower it a tad

ojc - kingstone is a nice place, shame i wasnt able to see more of it, they have indoor loos and sky tv there! watford was ok too, we filled up for petrol there

i test drove a 318 (2.0) and althought they did pull a bit, the mpg was terrible and dont have the same sound as the 6 potters do

i feel shattered
