Tried to top my loan up with Egg today but they declined me as i didnt meet there credit score!!!

The reason i dont meet there credit score is beacuse im not a liability, i have allways paid my debt off and when i check my credit rating online i score 950 out of 1000 and in class GOOD.

Your score is: 950 on a scale of 0-1000
A higher score generally indicates that lenders will consider it less risky to lend money to you.
This score reflects the information held by Experian on the date show here: 19/01/2006

Your credit score category is:

Very Poor Poor Fair Good Excellent

It sucks that you have to be in debt to get more money

Any loan companys i can try would be appriciated

If your credit score is too high then you probably wont miss any payments and they wont make enough money off you to justify giving you any money.. Maybe?

Equifax are good to buy your credit rating from. 12.50 for a detailed one. Or you can buy one from experian for 2.99 but it doesnt tell you much. i also got turned down from egg anf i have never missed a payment

Cahoot are quite hard to get loans with, its only because I work for Abbey that I got one.

Northern Rock would give money out to anyone, give them a try.

Failing that, Alliance & Leicester.

I checked my online credit score with experian, think it was about 750 and was fair

Missed credit card payments back in the day, so easy to forget, so anal.

egg used to be one of the easiest ones to get a loan off.

I once type in and asked for a 10k loan just to see how easy it was. I thought i'd cancelled it, but later the same afternoon I had a call from an advisor to confirm I wanted to accept the loan

I currently owe egg £4250 on my credit card, I didn't pay them for two years but I decided it's time to sort myself out

Mines is 750 and very shite to get credit, missed payments by a few days etc etc! The penalty for missing payments and also when you get rejected for credit it knocks your score down even more! How gay!

Bizarre. I have a similarly high credit rating, but the only time I have been turned down was buying a TV on 0% which was only around a grand.

Apparently it was purely because I'd only lived at my current place for 2 weeks, and was nothing to do with my actual rating...

You haven't moved have ya?
