People that use creatine at the gym??
Ive been going to the gym for approx a year or so… when I joined up I was a skinny wee boy I have to admit, weighing in at under 10stone…
I used creatine at the gym for a while and the results spoke for themselves.. I was up to just over 12 stone after 6 months training 4-5 days per week…
I got unwell, flu bug once a week, and I lost about a stone in weight… ive been back at the gym for about 2 months now and not using creatine and don’t seem to be lifting as heavy weights as I used to..
Before I could do 25kg bicep curls each arm, now I seem to be struggling with 20kg each arm bicep curls!
I want to be lifting thr 25kg again…
Should I start back on the creatine… or try something else??

Supplements aren't dangerous or anything if they work for you (which they seem to) use them. If you're aiming to get bigger and bigger then you know what you need to do apart from eat protein

Problem with creatine is all it's doing is filling your muscles with water. As soon as you stop taking it you will literally piss your muscles away
Creatine gives you a hell of a lot more energy and can help you push harder and lift a lot more. I've tried it and you're right, it does bulk you up with muscle quickly, but to keep the muscle you have to keep dosing up on the stuff and all the flavours taste like shit

If you want to gain again and keep the muscle I suggest trying a creatine supplement called "cyclone", it contains protein too and various other bits and bobs and is a lot more effective, altho more expensive IIRC

Eat protein, a supplement won't work too well without eating protein frequently and creatine is not the only supplement you can get btw.

Yes Thomas, there are loads of various supplements, just a matter of trying them and seeing which works best for yourself

Not much point in using it "sometimes" as you have a 5 day loading period anyway where you take twice as much daily to get it into your system. Then use it for a month and have 2 weeks off to let your system/liver recover, then repeat.

Agreed this has been covered several times but you have to accept people have different views on what works and what doesn't.

yeah and it been covered loads of times. If your going to keep it sensible then ok, but between people making random comments like 'it'll make your ball shirnk'. And people saying 'take this' i cant see hm getting much advice.
suppose L33 LEG's gone tho so it might work

Yes agreed, here is not the best place to look for advice but people have opinions to offer. You would get differing views from body building bb's aswell tho they'd just be be more aggressive in telling you
