Hes passed! Dont know how many minors.

Hes got a Corsa same engine as mine but its red. I borrow bits off his engine when mine starts playing up so I can check which part needs replacing before buying a new one

Couple of people he knows had their driving tests yesterday and the day before and failed and they were trying to tell my brother last night that they are failing everyone this week because there is a certain percentage of people that have to be failed Basically they were trying to make excuses as to why they failed

I passed my test 2nd time round, however quite a few of my mates that passed 1st time have had crashes, included 3 write off 1 death and another that got banned.

I used to hate getting in the car with my mates that had just passed their tests. They used to drive like total wankers.

TBH I would say it takes a good 1-2 years before you learn how to drive properly in every situation. Some people think they can jump behind the wheel and know it all. I wasn't too bad when I passed my test but looking back now I was very inexperienced compared to how I drive now

It wasn't THAT bad to be fair. IMO, he doesn't slow down enough for Corners and roundabouts etc.

I tried not to nag though, he has to learn and that. And I only pooped myself on a couple of occasions.

Did anyone else get the talk of their Dad when they passed their test?

I got told something along the lines of its great you've passed but dont go racing around, you've got a gf and your young with all this testosterone (sp) flying round your body so you'll start driving fast and showing off to your friends but dont do it

I got. Now you've learnt to drive and passed your test, you have to learn again how the roads work, other road users etc.

When I passed my test my Dad said this,

Hurry up and get a years no claims then you can get a 1.6 and we can do it up.

Then it was, you want a nice Rover V8 in that.

Then when my 1.2 failed MoT cos of rust it was, I found a 1.6 in Southampton, we'll check it out on the way back from buying your Mum that puppy she wants

He hates 1.6 corsas now
