my car is the biggest heap of shit on the road
after months of an engine neing fucked and shagged it is finallf back on the road,
however:
EM light is still on, believed to be electrical fault, plug on loom somewhere, runs fine
Driveshaft wont connect properly, not sure how long been like that, leaking fluid
Wiper mechanism broken
Camber way out, still not sorted
Front bumper squeaksall the time
Squeeky clutch - hopefully sorted
Headunit doesnt work till go over a bump then comes on and then back off
Doors are leaking
Back bumper has couple huge stone chips

so many things wrong with it begging to do my head in, as soom as one fixed another is added to the list

u should connect your headunit to the 'Live' wire.

this will keep your headunit on after ignition is turned off and just put it on standby.
U will prob find that your key chamber is loose which is why your headunit goes on and off. u seem to have same symptoms as what i had.

Not fallen out with my car. But i do have a large Deep scratch in front bumper due to Blind 4x4 Parker. Ever since i put batter in boot and put strut brace on i have a horrid clicking noise all the time that drives me up the wall without the music on

i have written most of the major problems, lots more niggling things but that would mean buying new parts and re doing quite a bit of work bad idea. mine is annoying as i need it every day, always find something else wrong on the way home every day

a_j i used to use mine everyday, i still could now but when i do stuff i dont want to be pressurised into doing it to a set time, im lucky now i dont need it everyday, so i can take my time with it, when something pisses me off i just leave it for a while

Also my horn stoped working so now i have wires going accross my engine bay to battery. Powerin a makeshift horn. Just a push button on the dash with wires. Just for MOT that looks horrid and needs sorting out too. Boot needs another touch up with the mat black and i still got unpainted door pods and interior pars and filler dust always coming of them.

We all got these shitty things too mate. Dont worry. Bit by bit

that was like me last night, went out just after 9, took scuttle off, yep wiper mechanism broken, so tryed to spot weld it to last the week, didnt work so some insulating tape, hopefully mum will have got me a new one today

then realised drive shaft wasnt in properly and had leaked all fluid out, tried fixing it, wheel off etc but couldnt get it so gave up at half 12 as i needed the car this morning
